Russia: Israel's demolition of Palestinian homes violates international law
23.07.2019 The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned today the Israeli demolition of Palestinian buildings in Wadi al-Hummus area in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sur Baher, saying it violates international law and undermines prospects for a two-state solution.
"Such acts by the Israeli side in the occupied Palestinian territories are illegal in international law and undermine the prospects of a two-state solution for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict," the ministry said.
Moscow called on Israel to "reconsider the demolition decision and refrain from such destructive steps in the future."
