On September 6, 2017, the team of the “Sources of Tolerance - Moldova” project, which is conducted with the support of the EAJC Kyiv Office, received the Sustainability Award of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs.

On August 17, the preparatory seminar for the camp “Roots and Future of Diaspora Jews” (Shorashim Ukraine 2017) began in Slavske (Lviv region, Ukraine).
On August 14, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture (Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyshchuk), the National Historical and Cultural Preserve “Babyn Yar” (Director Boris Glazunov), and the International Memorial Foundation “Babyn Yar” (Chairman of the Trustee Board is Co-President of VAAD Ukraine Andrey Adamovsky, and Director is Co-President of VAAD Ukraine, Chairman of the Program Committee of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Josef Zissels).
On August 20-29, the international children’s summer camp “Roots and Future of Diaspora Jews” (Shorashim - Ukraine - 2017) will take place in Slavske (Lviv region, Ukraine).
On August 4, the unique European Camp for children and teenagers project began work in Lviv. The project is implemented by the Congress of National Communities of Ukraine with the support of the EAJC Kyiv office, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and others.
